This Association is a group of Amateur Radio Operators who promote all aspects of Amateur Radio Technology.  We are a family oriented organization. Both husbands and wives can be heard on our repeater as well as at the membership meetings. It is not limited to the parents as we also enjoy the children involved with the club as well. Every aspect of Amateur radio can be found practiced by some member of Western Amateur Radio Repeater & Echolink Association such as ATV, CW, SSB, PSK31, packet, contesting, QRP, RTTY or satellite to name just a few.

Club Activities

The planning committee is always looking for new ways to get our club members together to enjoy this great hobby. Field trips, cookouts, special event stations, field Day, fox hunts, we love to do it all! You can be part of it too and now is a great time. We are busy planning new events for 2011! Click here for more information and pictures of some of our recent activities.

If you're interested in getting your Ham Radio license for the first time, or you are already licensed and looking to upgrade, The Redding ARRL VE Team has their website up and running. Please visit their website at http://www.reddingve.com/index.htm for available testing dates.

Testing is held at BloodSource, 1800 Park Marina Drive, Redding. Thanks to Steve Mosconi K6KS and the entire team for making it happen.
